Default Pulling the motor ?

I asked my mechanic if he could pull my motor out, so the engine bay could get painted along with the rest of the car, then just simply put it back when it was done. He told me it would be $800 dollars. Is that accurate? Just to pull it out and put it back in?

Do it yourself.

Honda motors are very straightforward to remove.

If you have to pay a shop to do it, then I guess $800 is a fair rate.

What color are you painting your ITR?

This is what the car used to look like, right?

my vote is pink with gold metalflake. paint the "grill" solid gold.

Add window banner "gold fronts" in script....you are now prepared for the Oakland car show

Glen? your Reid? All this time, and I didn't know. This was something that I thought about doing after getting a JDM front. After doing some work to this car, I figured the bay may get a bit scratched up and what not, and if it was not to much $$$ I'd just paint the bay along with the whole front since it would be exposed. I do not plan on changing color.

P.S. Hows the DC DC2?

No, Reid is Reid. Glen is Gansan.

EDIT:

There's no need to paint the engine bay.

It does not get damaged by working on the car.

yea thats about right, i charge 850 with fluids, and 800 is not bad. unless you got skills its only 13 bolts and you're ready to pull it out with a cherry picker. that will save you a bundle
