Valve respacing (already did a search)
How difficult is this to do? My 90 DX has about 107k and it definitely "clicks" during any sort of acceleration so I'm thinking the valves are maybe lightly taping against the pistons - not sure though. If anyone has any links that would be helpful too
Thanks

adjusting valves is pretty easy on the single cams... a helms/chilton manual will help. The valve specs are located under your hood. .20/.25mm I think for the b2/a6
Jeff
I read the article and understand everything except the actual process of where to measure the valve clearance. I can not tell from the pictures. Where does the gauge sit and how should the crank be sitting when you actual do the measuring? Thanks again
Ahh, I think I see. The cam lobe of the valve you're adjusting has to be at it's highest point since that will in turn push the rocker arm down, and also putting the valve to it's lowest point (closest to the piston). This is the distance you actually will be adjusting, correct? Anyway, for each valve you do you would need to turn the crank to ensure the valve is at it's lowest point, correct?
The only other question I have now is what do you actual do to adjust the valve?
