You are worthless garbage. You come in saying stuff off topic. He wants help in getting a zc in the 14s. He didn't say "hey what motor will get me in the 14s".

Jackass.

I used the information from www.homemadeturbo.com. My parts list included a CRX HF manifold, Mitsubishi Starion FMIC,and a Starion TD-05 12G turbo. This set up allowed me to reach a 14.2@97mph in Upstate NY ant Lebanon Valley Dragway.

This is a board that has discussions & opinios. I have my opinion on this topic and it is not worth the work or money spent in building a ZC motor to make it run 14 sec in the quarter.

Buy a 1.8 and drop it in. This alone will get you to the 14sec mark just stock. (jackass)

If you can not say anything nice then DON'T say it at all.

By the way JACKASS nice SIG!!!!! ***

any crx model or std hatch stripped..good clutch...i/h/e..tune up...good tires..light rims..stiff rear springs and good driving skills and racing on a good day at a track somewhat close to sea level..other wise Id say most dohc zc run low to mid 15's n/a

He wasn't saying that putting a 1.8 in a car was bad, its just not what the guy was asking for. You could always drop a damn B20 vtec turbo, but thats not what he wants.

I love it when someone asks a ZC question on this board, suddenly 5 people jump in the thread to make sure everyone knows that ZCs are garbage. Seems pretty funny to me, but hey whatever. Im not going to defend the ZC becouse I dont think its a great motor eaither, however, I dont think its all that bad too. When someone asks a question, pull your head out of your *** and help them, if you think they could do it a better way, then tell them so, and dont be a **** ant about it. You think that becouse youve posted here longer that give you the right to beak off at the new guys? Nope, all it means is youve spent more time in front of a computer. Congrats.

As far as hitting 14s with a ZC, its not that hard at all really I dont think. Ive seen it done a few times with IHE and an si tranny. Oh good tires and good driving are a must as well.

you use first gen jdm supra pistons (forged, and same size as d series pistons) you use b series con rods because they attach to the supra pistons, and your stock d series crank. they give you a little longer stroke i think, so you have to notch the block a little bit.

pretty much forged low compression build. i think turbopanda was running 12 lbs daily on his otherwise stock motor

i/h/e milled head, clutch, nice tires, and a few passes i think you would get close to 14's. oh and some tuning

as far as getting a 1.8 and building that, it would be great and all. but if youhave a ZC or a D or anything. and you want to go with that. just do it. i have my stock d16a6 in my crx and i have to hear it everyday, get a B series get a Bseries. i am just so over it. i am staying with my D. **** you
so its really up to you. a Bseries would be GREAT! but if not, work with it

id say turbo zc is the most cost effective

and ull love boost

but if u want NA and have the $$$ go with a b16a1 or b18a1

NA and a ZC 4 letters that dont usualy go together but if u want to have the fastest NA ZC do it....
alot of peeps used to tell me to drop a b16a1 into my DA that has the b18a1 and i wouldve just for the vtec but it wasnt cost effective caus that b18a showed mad people up...it was way faster than what people thought
