where can I get this b16 motor mount?
I was at Darlinton drag strip and saw a 4th gen HB. I looked in side the engine bay and saw that the b16 did not have a motor mount near the headers. The front motor mount was not even there. Would it be alright for you not to connect this motor mount and just take it off, or is this that crossmember kit every one is talking about?

With the Hasport kit you don't need the front mount. I'm running without one and it works fine.

You said you haven't been running the front motorr mount. Isn't that bad for the engine. I mean I would think that you would need all your motor mounts, but if someone else has experience with just 3 and not the front let me know. How does it feel when you get on the gas and shift? Doesn't it jerk?

as far as the engine jerking, i have not had problems. i think its due to the polyuerethane bushings they use which make it stiffer, which is why the 4th mount it not needed. just about everyone and their mom runs this setup of hasport mounts with only the three and i have yet to hear a problem reported, if that makes you feel any better
i use 3 mounts.... i had the front mount support hacked off of the front cross member... if you are using quality mounts then 88-91 civics only need 3....

hcp has 4.. but most people run 3 anyway... with the front mount mounted, we felt way more vibration in the car, so we removed it.
HCP has 2 kits now. One they sell has the front mount which are black and the new ones only have 3 and are silver. Dont know if there any differet. Know people just using 3 HCP mounts also though.
