Default how good is the c-speedracing "how to" tech page?

i was wondering how good of a resource information is the "how to" page on cspeedracing.com. could you do everything correctly following their step by steps? i'm thinking of doing a cam installation soon and need some instructions. oh and is changing cams on an LS almost the same as for a GSR? thanks!

I'd suggest that you invest in a Helms manual if you don't already have one. Its a must if you're going to do work on your own car.

installed my ITR cams with no prior experience using c-speed's instructions. with minimal improvision (due to oversights on my part), install was a charm

they skip over a lot of important steps

use it for a guideline, not for step by step info

the pics are nice and can be very helpful; but nothing beats having a Helms manual and good instructions provided by the manufacturer of the itme you are installing.

Yep, they skip explaining some steps. But their photos are excellent as a guide.

what about an LS cam swap and a GSR cam swap. are the procedures pretty much identical? thanks for the input!

Cam installation for the LS is nearly identical to the cam install for the GSR....as everyone has eluded to, use it as a guideline, not the rule. Looks as if you haven't gotten yourself a Helms manual.

Here is the Helms Homepage, do yourself a favor and order one.
