Energy Suspension Motor Mounts + OEM Mounts: Whats wrong with this picture?
Out of the 3 mounts, I attempted to install only 2, succeeded with ONLY 1.
I noticed this and Im not sure if I want to put it back together until Im sure.
The drivers side AC bracket mount was a breeze. The inserts fell into place with no problem. I still have to zip tie the mounts together BUT I did notice this.
This is weird. The inside diameter of the motor mount is MUCH larger than the shaft.
So, Im NOT too sure if I dropped a piece of hardware that I cant seem to find. I have been kind of "guessing" on how this works assuming Im not lacking another piece. If you look at that washer below, and the nut, Im assuming that nut compresses the washer into the metal sleeve of the AC mount bracket to the other side of the bracket. Does all this make sense? If you apply enough torque to the nut, all the metal will bind prohibiting to move, right?
That is only 1 of my worries.
I ordered this Energy Suspension kit and the label says 1990-2001 Integra (including Type-R).
Here is the tranny mount bracket I pulled off:
If you look on the TOPSIDE of the mount (which is on the bottom of the picture), it has an EXTRA "hump" on it. If you look at the insert Energy Suspension gave me, its just a TAD different.
I can MAKE it fit without cutting ANYTHING but it will require some force. Force Im not sure is required.
Let me know your experiences with the issues I have, thanks.

Using some force to get the inserts in is fine. On your first problem, something doesn't look right. I'm thinking there shouldn't be any room for play in there.
It depends if your car is DA or DC. The mounts are completely diffrent.

there is no way that staement can be true, sorry dude you probably have the wrong inserts.
I need to know what car you drive and the part# for the inserts.

Why don't you install the rear insert as well? It's not as difficult as everyone says.
Thanks for the feedback.
I will install the rear mount. I just ran into these questions as I was doing the "easy" mounts.

Everything went together well. If you look above, the washer has 2 slots, it lines up with the shaft and therefore centers it. Back insert was install under 30 minutes with hand tools.
Thanks for the help.
