Hey whats the best place to mount a shock sensor? On the steering column?

it depends on the alarm and how sensative you want it. code alarm, ungo, astroflex, and david leavy alarms seem to work best ziptied to the steering colom. dei ziptied to the main harness or alpine screwed vertical to a dash brace. like i said it all depends on the brand, vehicle, how sensative you want it, etc. it should tell you in the install manual how to best mount the sensor. goodluck
