Isn't it illegal to put a motor in a car that is older than the car.Emmissions issues????
You still have to follow emission standards (no open header) but swaping the engine is perfectly legal.
Isn't it illegal to put a motor in a car that is older than the car.Emmissions issues????Maybe in Japan. Although I know some cops who think it's illegal to put aftermarket parts on a car.

However nobody except california cares.
to install the 95 engine you would use a 96-00 civic ex or si harness to make it
easy, and then get a harness adapter to run the older ecu.
In the US it is illegal to put an older engine into a newer car.
