**What is the best Source of Auto/Tuning Tech?**
Today is an amazing day for me.. my girlfriend just found out that her grandparents are gonna give her their '95 Civic DX (coupe) for high school graduation this year, so she's pumped about getting into the tuning game. But, like me, she doesnt know too much about cars except what she picked up through my trials and errors (she was there when i did my engine swap, by myself, with nothing more then 20 or so computer printouts and my highschool's tool box and lift. it took 3 weeks for me to do everything
)
She's always asking me about what this does and what that does and usually I tell her I dont have a clue or I make up something to sound mechanical.
Anyways, I've got 2 sites of how to's that have helped me out a bit: c-speed and jdmfan but there is a lot missing. I dont know about soo many things, that everyone else here takes for granted.
Since I missed out on all the shop classes in my life, how do you all recommend I learn about this stuff. Are there any more web sites that give good information on honda mechanics or tuning? I need all the help you can give me, so if you think anything can help, let me know.
How did you guys learn so much, especially those of you who dont know anyone else who really tunes there cars. TIA!
