Value of 98 Type R w/ 92k miles
My friend is thinking about selling his 98 CW ITR with 92k on it. Its in good condition however the front of the car needs to be repainted and the rest of the bodys paint may need to be touched up in a couple places. The interior is nearly perfect however the drivers floormat is slightly worn. The car has been well maintaned and fully tuned ( regular oil changes, fuel filter, tranny fluid, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc). It has a CM stage 1 clutch and Bridgestone SO3's both of which have less than 5k on them. The only mods the car has in i/h/e Kenjis ECU as well as a short throw shifter. What would you value this car at? Thanks!
milege too high and not good shape so seems market value private only around
$9,000. Good Luck and aftermarket parts don't help in regular market.

Mine has about 62k miles, '98 ITR #0815 and I would like to get around $15,500-16,000 for it (as soon as I can get things sorted out). The private market estimates on Edmunds or KBB are in no way accurate for cars like the ITR (IMO).
You also have to remember how high the demand is for a limited production car that has a rep.
'95 Supra TT 6spd w/ around 80k
market value: around $14500
actually sells for: around $20000
Why? High demand + rare
Get on Autotrader and see what everyone is selling their '98 Rs for...There are a good number of them for sale....

An '98 LS Integra will fetch somewhere around $11-12k, assuming good condition and reasonable mileage. Atleast around here. I would think that you could get a heck of a lot more than 9k.... I paid 18,500 just a year and a half ago, and I thought I was gettting a good deal.
Have prices came down that much?
