Anyone have any info on the crower 403 LS cams in a b20?
How it pulls, do you need to have cam gears and a s-afc to tune them, besides the springs and retainers?

any info would be appreciated...

 

my opinion Crower needs work. Have broke. And I mean broke 2 sets of crower cams. Just not worth my time. I would do a little research -- before spending money on Crower cams.

 

I am currently using Rocket's (ef-1) "small" grind. It has the lift of a 403, and more duration than a 404. They are regrinds, which I am not sure he still makes. Anyway, I made 20whp tuned w/ cam gears and AFC. Will not pass emissions. Will lope. This was on a B20B. If you are interested, contact him. Tell him JalopySiR sent you.

 

we should have our LS cams up available.. . working on a test car right now to dyno tune the cams in.

do search in the Integra from. about 1 month ago a memeber had his B18b dynoed. he made pretty decsent power. search under Crower. Theres about 10 other topics in the aricives too.

i had a set of 405a,s in my car for 1 year before they broke crower now makes the cams out of new metal i made 178hp 138'#.my crx went 12.83@106 with a 1.8
ls.i now have a 2.0 with crane cams.i made 197hp 147'# I like the crane cams more but they cost 200 more.and yes you need a AFC,fuel reg.and a upped rev limit .im me with any Q's about this.
