B16A Motor with B17A Crank?
What do you guys think about this article:

Sounds pretty good to me.
I'd appreciate opinions of experienced tuners.
Any potential problems?
Thanks.

Well the last article that guy wrote was overly simplistic and full of itself.
The ideas are decent but a rebuilt/resleeved/etc B16 is not that easily had for the price of a B18C.
He says "it uses a B17A block" when he's talking about a B16A block with a B17A crank.
"I bet you could spin this motor to 12k RPM" is just a pointless claim.
From what I've seen this guy is somewhat decent at theorizing based on broad generalizations and a few formulas, without any sort of experience in building a motor. He also likes to think that his ideas are great and certain people who read the article on the internet are easily swayed by the authoritative attitude.
It's just one guy's opinion, and nothing that innovative.
