only reason why i ask is that my car was hit in the front two years ago and the shop did not have to cut the core support to take it off . but thanks for the feedback ... and i think that everyone is right when saying that we need a jdm forum........

There should be a JDM front end conversion FAQ, that's all.

Who here isn't really tired of reading JDM front end questions? Or for that matter, 'look at my jdm goodness' threads??
No offense to anyone, but all these boners over JDM stuff is just plain stupid. (If it is functional, well built and does the job, who cares where it is from??)

I don't even have (or want) a jdm front end, but i could tell you every part needed and every last detail to install it. Why? Because I read about it every day in this forum!!

I have the JDM front and I agree with you. I'm sick of all the lookie-at-my-JDM threads. Unless its for a specific reason then why post pics of a body style you can see anywhere in Japan, or SoCal? =P

About a FAQ. I'm not promising anything, but I am planning on doing a thourough faq website deal detailing the whole conversion and many of the different installation techniques. I've done it myself so I have a little understanding of the process. And btw you don't have to weld it on, you can bolt it on or rivet it on as well (airplane style =P). I've riveted mine and all the panels bolt up perfectly.

nobody ever said that you had to answer the question.. if you think that jdm questions are stupid then why do you read them.. just because you dont care about it doesnt mean that other people dont..

I nominate Soup **** as the mod of the JDM DC2 conversion forum. There would be lots of fresh meat to chomp on in that forum.
