B16A or B18A with J1 tranny?
What are your opinions on the B16A motor or the B18A motor. Either one will be mounted to a J1 tranny. I like the idea of all-motor over FI. It is going into a 1991 DX hatch. Thanks
I like my friends B18A w/ its lower end torque, but starts to feel raspy @ 5k rpm....where as my B16 starts to scream all the way to 8k....

i would go with the b16a..... i turbo'd mine and think there is nothing better than the sound of a turbo vtec motor at full boost at 8.500 rpm.. can't fad it.... gooooooooooooooooooo vtecccccccccccccccccc!!!
