Good Setting for adjustable cam gears?
CRX b16 with gsr cams i/h/e and adj cam gears.....
I know a dyno will only tell me what works best..... BUT i would like to know what would be an ok starting point to put them at for a little more performance(BESIDES ZERO)
IF all you have to say is "get your car dynoed" please dont bother replying

seriously if u know the answer to the question why bother posting in the first place u wont know if u getting more power unless u dyno it 2-3 hp can be gained and all but u could loose hp if u do something wrong its to easy to do it wrong and unless someone had ur b16 in their car before with the same mods they wont know either compression is different in everyones cause its an old motor they have different intakes different headers and different exhausts no one can REALLY tell u what to set them at and be correct stick with tdc untill u can get some more $$ for some dyno time and an afc will also help with getting the most power outa the cams also

Longest sentance evAr. Give +2 intake -1 exhaust a try, those #s have been floating around for awhile.

What's up daniel? Around intake +2 and -1 exhaust seems to be the hot setup on a b16. Adding some FP may help too, i would assume that the GSR cams are delivering more air than the b16 cams, plus I/H/E may be causing you to lean out a little.
If the GSR cams have more overlap than the stock b16 cams you may want to just go +1 on the intake and leave the exhaust at 0. Or +1, +1. If you had the stock b16 cams I would say just go with intake +2 and exhaust +1, but I'm not sure what the diferences between the GSR and b16 cams are.

i went +2 intake and 0 on exhaust and that seemd to liven things up a bit. it was good enough for a 14.7@ 92 in az in the middle of summer.
