Well fella's, I promise I'm not going to become one of those guys that constantly post their pics :cough: Kid 1320 :cough: just playin man, your cars sweet.

Anyways I'm pretty pumped I just lowered my car and put my GSR Wheels on. The paint I used was Rustoleum Camoflauge Flat Black. I sanded them down and just applied 2 coats. I'm really happy with the outcome. Also the drop is H&R Race with KYB AGX Shocks. I haven't seen too many hatch's w/ that drop so this is a basis. Also they should settle just a little bit more in due time. Here's some pictures.






Now if this monstrous storm would leave I would tell you how it handles...

That's a nice drop. Not as low as I thought H&R Races would be.

the painted GSRs, though. . . . Not really feeling them.

Well I had a bit of a rust problem so I got the front lowered but typically since this car lived in ohio all it's life. I broke both LCA's in the rear and had to get replacements so that hindered it. I am very happy with the drop... I've already recieved 2 compliments.

 

Yea -- I really am glad you didnt get the sports Scott...that is a perfect drop.

 

nice drop,..and yes Ohio weather sucks,...i cant drive the widebody no where,..i would straight tear off my front end,..this is alot of snow compared to the last couple years,...we gots to meet up one of these days

 

Definately, it's treacherous (sp?) out there. I was plowin all over the place... first time in 25 years that OSU has had a snow day! Wahoo! We should definately meet up sometime... hit me up if you are ever around campus area.

Make sure you get an alignment. You won't be able to really tell how it handles until you do so. Plus with even the slightest amount of snow on the ground the car will be all over the place, not to mention you'll go through tires quick. Get the alignment, then tell us how it handles.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I am going to get an alignment on Friday because my bro knows some guy that can get me a discount. Yea driving the car around yesterday provided me with some scary moments in the snow. And with the wheels you love 'em or you hate 'em, I decided to do them because I like the way they look, and I bought them with Curb markings so I got them really cheap, and figured since I'm gonna be sanding them down to paint them I could just fix the curb markings. I've already gotten 2 compliments, one guy came up to me and asked if they were Slipstreams, and another just said nice wheels. I'm pretty stoked about the outcome. Thanks for all the compliments
