Yeah mine used to do the same thing. At first I thought i was just not aligned correctly so after a couple months of constant readjusting i ruled that out. I thought it also could've been a sticky rail problem but after lubing it still popped off. So i finally took it to honda and they charged me 200 bucks for parts and labor. I guess the rails were bent but yeah that was way too much and if i could do it again i wouldve just gone to a junkyard and picked up the entire assemble for probably less then 50 bucks.

My friend has a 99 Si. He had the same problem too. So I told him to make a visit to a auto repair shop that were famliar with me. They fixed it in 5-10 min for free.

I had a similar problem. Every time I tried closing my window it wouldnt seal properly. I went out and bought a friggin new regulator thinking that was the problem. When I cracked open the door panel to replace the regulator I found that the rubber seal that lines the entire window was torn. So I went to the junkyard and paid another $5 for an easy fix. I have some pics somewhere if you want me to share.

its not just the power locks its the manual ones too

u can lock while the door is open if u pull the handle & the just lock it.

its weird
lol...yea i know...i said power locks or not...but why did honda do that?? i think its only the locks that have the flipping thing...and not the pulling thingie

Okay, tell me how many times have you locked yourself out of the car? That is why it is done this way to prevent you from locking yourself out of the car, you actually have to do more then graze the lock button to become locked out with that configuration.

Back to the topic on hand, I took a look at how the door window was rolling up and down, mind you this was with power windows though. Anyway, I noticed the bolt was sliding inside farther each time I would roll up the window. It is only a white plastic piece it is attached to with a nut and bolt on plastic so the bolt can only be tightened so much. I figured I could increase the contact area with a slightly larger headbolt, after doing so I tested it a few times to check if it was sliding. Haven't had any problems for 5-6 months at least.
