Window Rail? The roller's rubberpeice is broken so the rail hangs LOOSE!
Long story short....car is 93 civic ex coupe. Windows were working fine....untill one day I rolled up the window and then it got stuck about half way. It won't go up but it will go back down. So I decided to fiddle with it for a bit to see if maybe the rail were off somehow. And then out of no where BAAAM! The window exploded, shattered like a water fountain. I got another window...so today I took off the panel to see whatsup. Everything works well, I guess... it's not the motor or anything because the rails do come all the way up and all the way down. Here's the thing...I examined the rail and noticed that it was hanging LOOSE. What I mean by loose is that the rail is loosely hanging pointed outwards instead of inwards (towards inside the car). The rubber peices on the roller were worn and had broken off. There are 2 rollers on the rail simuliar to that of a regular dresser or cabinet drawer. The rollers have a screw that is in the shape of a circle and not of that of any other design. How do I replace the roller's so that it will hang onto the rail tightly once again? Or do I have to do it the hard way?
