I use the generic "tuner" lugs that you can get at Discount Tire. I just shave the top's off so the stud can thread thru.

There was some concern about structural integrity with the lugs, but i haven't had a problem with them ever.

Hehe, that IS expensive, but if they do any real racing (road or track) then i guess you shouldnt settle for anything less than the best. I wouldnt wanna pull some hard G's on a turn n lose control because of some cheap lugnuts that couldnt handle it

if youe torque them properly, they shouldn't fail. probably TORQUEING them and REMOVING them will show their quality...

They wern't intended for road and track use.. at all? you think longer, or beefyer for strength? no, its strictly for the strip.. yeah, you could around town, doens't hurt anything at all, but they are for thicker wheels "13" slicks" when i slick down, i have to use my Spoon Lugs.. around town, im on aluminum Skunk lugs.. but yeah, there intended for slicks.. unless you have expencive taste..

REAL racers go to autostore and pick up generic (gorilla, mcguard) lugnuts.

as for skunk2 extended wheel studs, theyre crap like the rest of their products. just get acura TL REAR wheel studs. extends an extra 10mm and fits like OEM, cuz it is...

And what good does that do? Stick the wheels out further? Wouldn't wear out your tires faster, wider turning radious? Extended wheel studs were intended for thicker wheels, just so happens my 13" slicks fit well. And ive never had a problem with those aluminum skunk lugs, nor have i heard anything about the Spoon lightweight lugs, expencive yes, but if you care, 1 Skunk lug weights as much as all 4 of the OE accorn lugs..

A lot of people around here have those on daily drivers. To me if your not dragging they are a 'stunna' item.
