CRX • 88 Headlights/Corners to 90-91 Headlights/Corners
What does it take to change over an 88 CRX headlights & corners to the 90-91 Headlights & corners? Would i have to get 90-91 fenders as well, or will my 88 fenders work? Any help is appreciated.
THanks..
THanks..
here what I did..i bought new 90-91 headlights since my car was wrecked..You could just go to junkyard and buy the headlamp brackets of a 90-91 civic/crx..all models will work as long as its 90-91..you will need to take of the plastic screw holders in the fenders(where the 88-89 screws for the corners are) replace them with the 90-91 clips..get 90-91 corners..i believe thats it..btw all88-91 crx fenders are the same the only diff is the trim is thinner on 90-91 but phiscaly the fenders are all the same...its a good lil trick using the cleaner look 90-91 corners
awesome..thanks for the information.
so let me get this straight... use the headlamp brackets from a 90-91 CRX, but still use my existing 88 Headlights? then just use the 90-91 corners?

yeh just use the 90-91 brackets..take ur headlamp on and put it on the 90-91 brakets..try and buy just the brackets at a wrecking yard or somewhere and the 90-91 corner lights and the clips that hold them to the fenders..also btw to take ur headlamps out you must take the front bumper off..its all easy though..should only take like 45 minutes to 1hour to this job..if have any more questions let me know
