HELPP!! SMC Install=- car wont crank now-10$ to whoever can figure it out

i wired up the SMC and im having trouble with the car runnin smooth. it smells like gas and i lowered it down to 40% and it still deosnt idle and smells strong of gas. I used to have the file to fit map limiter circut and that worked good. but i wanted to get the SMC for more tunability. Anyways. took out the file o fit chip and i tried puttin in the SMC and so far no luck. i found the SMC instructions a bit hard to work with because i counted the pin cell's in the harness and none of them matched up to his diagrams which made it hard to use. any insites >. need help asap. thank s

yea it is there now, but its not cranking which is funny. it just clicks liek theres no toamrrow ( as if low on battery) the ecu fuse did not pop, anyone have any ideas ?

im gettin it straight off the distributor the blue wire ... and my RPM switch for Vtec is hooked up there too .. but today i had to kick start it, damn starter wont even click ... but i leaned i tout to 50% and it idled for a bit and then it just died and it wouldnt start afterwards (* cant kick start)

i've heard that it is best to get it right from the icm signal of the ECU. long wires are not friendly with the rpm signal as the smc requires an electrically "clean" signal. what kind of car is this in?

also at first it started and was rough as hell and smellled totally of gas, then it stopped firing up, then it started clicking, and now it wont click anymore ( not a battery issue) are there any wires near the wires on his diagram that relate anything to any relays or starters ?

good luck
hate to say it but clicking sounds like your starter might have took a **** (prolly not but worth a try) just try rolling the car with ignition on and try jumping it ....that will rule out the starter........

Car should crank even if you remove the ecu.
