Any helpful advice would be appreciated....
We are going to swap a 95 ex d16z6 sohc vtec into a 88 CRX DX. We wanted to use the 95 wiring harness and ecu, but looks like more trouble with wiring than we want to do. I guess we are going to use the exsisting wiring harness and many of original engine peices other than whats needed for multi-point injection. I know that we will have to wire up the injector harness and box as well as the distributor.
I have or am getting these parts this week...
95 ex d16z6 (have)
88-89 Integra ECU (getting)
89 SI injector resistor box (getting)
MSD vtec controller (getting)
89 SI tranny (getting)
Anything else anyone can think of?
Keep in mind, that later this year i am going with a turbo, and nitrous, as well as changing out pistons and rods but am on a budget right now.
Excited about the swap. I would appreciate any helpful info. Has anyone here done this swap? Have any pics that i may look at to see what i may have to do or etc?
