Flywheel break-in??

Default Flywheel break-in??

my friend and i are installing a f/w in his R, my question is, do you have to properly break in the f/w (fidanza 7.5) he currently has an action 2 md clutch.

I don't think the flywheel needs to be broken in but I would just drive conservatively for maybe 200 or so miles to just to play it safe...anyone else?

i would think the clutchdisc would have to be broken in again to the flywheel surface

2-300 miles.

besides taking it easy for few hundred miles, raise your rpm when taking off from stop, unlike 1000rpm that you can easily do with stock flywheel before releasing clutch pedal, rev it to 2500-3000rpm to avoid rattle and possible early wear/damages.

Just rev it up to about 7500 and drop it.....better make it 7600 just to be on the safe side.

Awww Shizzle... I didn't get any flywheel fluid with my new flywheel...and now you telling me that driving around normally for the 1st 400miles or so is bad too??
