Default Do LMAs go bad?

I am getting my 12 year old B16 head worked on by Portflow... do the LMAs go bad? Do they need to be replaced?

They don't go bad, but they do bind. Make sure they all move freely. Its covered in the Haynes.

Edit: Well yea, I guess that does mean they go bad huh? I'm not sure, but I think you could get away with cleaning them.

Make sure they are clean they move freely and most important they have to be as full of oil as possible soak them in oil for a while before you put them in.
