So i took off my Valve cover to see how black it look under

Is this a sign that it's getting bad???? am i gonna need a new motor or rebuild?

Any way to get it clean up??

I may be wrong but i think the coloring comes from not changing the oil regularly like one is suppose to. Im not saying you dont but maybe previous owner didnt.

try useing SEAFOAM in ur oil a day or less before u change ur oil next

but read directions on back of can and do what it says for seafoaming the oil

mine looks just like that. The first time I took it off it was all gunked up. Try seafoam and just keep your oil fresh.

just do the seafoam at like 11pm 12 am when no one will see or be bothered by it

then change oil next morning
