I have an ls/vtec running a b16 head and a p30 ecu. Would It be cheaper to buy a b16a1 and use parts from my ls/vtec or should I buy a complete b16a2? Or just buy a b16a2 long block?

btw whats involved in making a b16a1 work in my car?

to get a first gen b16a to work in your car you need to switch to obd0, and get a harness to have a cable tranny.

i don't know what you are asking in the 1st 2 questions. are you going to switch from a ls/vtec to a b16?
