what do think about the quality of the RSX-S...
i dont liek the interior design, all over fitment is way better improved since last models, but the quality of materials is good but the actual material used seems cheap and american like its too taught
does it feel like a high-quality car? i mean, ACURA is kinda of a luxurious manufacturer, such as the TL, MDX, ect.

Road noise is not bad on the RSX
The side rearview mirrors have subtle grooves, or dimples, to reduce turbulence at highway speed. This makes the body more aerodynamic, helps reduce cabin noise.
as far as aqueks rattle goes.. yes, its the first year's production of the RSX and theres too many rattles everywhere sunroof,trunk,side doors,speakers , but this is probably been resolved in the 03 and 04 RSX's.

Also.. the materials in the interior gets scratched very easy... Trying ur hardest not to scratch anything but then you drop a bolt on the center concole and scratch it.
I think the RSX dropped on anything.. springs.. coilovers... full coilover systems... The Ride is very good.. but the shocks dont last long dropped on any aftermarket spring/coilvoers.

My car is lowered with B+g S3 full coilovers, X-brace, tein ha pillowmounts, and tires. My car is a lot stiffer now then it was stock.. but this car feels like a pig on turns.. it feels so heavy compared an integra... its to narrow and tall... turning is not responsive as a type-r.. and the turn radius sucks ***... I can barely bust a U-turn.

i think its a great improvement from the tegs, rattling for instance is virtually gone its extremely quiet. My teg (RIP) had many a rattle going on the sunroof, the sunvisors etc

Acura did a good job on stepping up to Lexus.... I agree, they are very "NICE" to drive, very quiet. The Interior is iffy... The Seats are confortable, and the car responds very well to mods. I've driven a few Type S's, with different set ups, and I was pretty well impressed with the GS-R replacement.......
fit and finish of course as most honda and acuras is great ....good feel inside .....great controls ...good ergonomics .....the dash and interior is a little to frilly and flashy to me ...but its very appealiing to most males and females ..my only big complaint on the interior is its seats ...they are too tall ....and too wide ..i'm not your typical fat *** american ....they are TOO wide ....and in the Type S with its leather seats ..its too easy to slide around during spirited driving
ride quailty is firm ...fairly agile ...i like how the rear follows around sharp turns ...has a little bit to much body sway in stock form ..ride height is too high ..but then a lower ride height ...would make a less comfortable ride ...and acura is going for smoooth ....

I have only driven the regular RSX and I didnt like it that much. Maybe the Type S is better but im not sure. As for road noise, it was pretty loud on that windy day. Louder than my 2001 ITR but the ITR has somesort of thing on the side windows so that when you are in motion it pushes the windows in to reduce wind noise. The Type S may have them also but I dont know.

Man I can't believe you don't like the seats! EVERYONE who rides in my car absolutely loves these seats. Even my 14 year old little brother doesn't slide around in them like you say you do.

try sitting in some Type R seats ..you'll know the meaning of grip ....
..my only big complaint on the interior is its seats ...they are too tall ....and too wide ..i'm not your typical fat *** american ....they are TOO wide ....and in the Type S with its leather seats ..its too easy to slide around during spirited driving

well duh .....thats a racing seat ....the ITR has some of the best OEM seats i've ever had the chance to place my *** on ....
i'd rather have the OEM new Si seats ..same design ..but better material ...not slippery
