There was some good fun to be had in Camden today.. had an autocross one about an inch or two of fresh snow. I was third car, first heat.. Mucho sliding fun. Every heat got faster by about 5 seconds on average, but for the first heat, a guy in an STS accord wagon with some serious handbrake skills was posting times rivalling Bill McMichael's SM WRX (those two cars were pretty much leading things first heat).

AJ, you should have made the trip! You could have gotten neat slideways video for your camera!

Andrew, good to finally meet you.. thanks for remembering my floor mats!

I can now say that I have been to a competition event where drifting was the faster way around the course (at least for the first couple heats)..

 

You guys are CRAZY! I stayed home warm and snug. Actually fighting some sort of stomach virus. Friggin stomach is going crazy.

 

There was no way I was going to be able to leave my parking lot this morning.

I literally can't get up the hill with the Azenis on.

I got up at 6:30 this morning, looked at the snow...and said NO.

I didn't want to risk damaging the CRX that I had just finished fixing.

I'll catch the next one. Hopefully it will finally be dry.
