Default RS door panels.

I got this yesterday.

If I put these on my integra, because I got to disconnected the automatic door lock, Will it interfere with the alarm system? or cause problem with closing the door or locking the door?

I don't think it will interfere with your alarm keyless enrty. I put another set of door panels in my 91 teg and they didn't have the hole for the power doorlock switch. So I just left the switch out and my keyless entry still works with my alarm. It should be the same with the 94+ tegs too. You will just have to reach over and unlock the passenger side door manually now if you are inside.

might be a retarded question, but what's the diff btwn these and ls/gs/gsr/type-r door panels? just the power door lock hole is filled in? and why do people want these just to look cleaner inside? just wondering, that's all... please excuse my ignorance

To reduce the ease of theft because the power door lock switch is quite visable and is a means to open the door/steal the vehicle with a slim jim..

It has nothing to do with appearance. Only to reduce ease of theft.

wow good idea... didn't think of that. It's sad but true, it's really easy to unlock the doors on an Integra, especially sedans because the windows are frameless. On the brighter side, it's easy to unlock if you accidentally lock yourself out of your car thanks for the info

All you have to do is unplug the switch, but most people aren't comfortable with the fact that there's a shiny non functional switch just sitting there

Only thing about this mod is that i like having pwrdoorlocks especially when i'm tryin to lock or unlock with a passenger sittin next to me.. its kinda rude to lean over the person ya kno? depending on who they might be... but ...

i've always wanted to relocate the switch to where teh ebrake handle is.. even did a little research for it.. and found that the sl500 benz one actually looks like it'll fit perfectly, but i never got around to ordering the part and doin it... too lazy.

True.. disconnecting those power doorlocks will greatly reduce the chance of theft

my only complaint is that my alarm locks the doors when you start the car- and I have no way to unlock the hatch unless I shut off the car.

Dang thieves.

at least they can't get the car that way, but there are other ways.

This gives you reason to relocate the switch, after you replace the bezel wit the rs one.

What are you talking about ? My latch is still there .. you just manually push it ... Even with the RS handles.. you still have your latch to manually unlock it ..

Have you ever dealt with routing wires through the bulkhead in the door jam? It's not worth the hassle.

Where can you get those bezels for 5 bucks each?

i believe you can actually reach the wires in teh kick panel if you plan on rerouting... you can leave the original wire harness for the switch where it is in the door.
