Default Lucite vs Lexan for windows

Has anyone ever tried Lucite instead of lexan for window replacement. They sell Lucite at home depot and it seems like a good price.

it scratches very easily and i dont think it forms as well. I use it for the sides and rear quarters on my car. I wouldnt use ti for the front wiindow because of the scratching while washing.

I thought lucite was a brand name like lexan. As long as Lucite is made from polycarbonate, you are fine. Try to get scratch resistant.

They are the same thing...both just brand names. Each has their own different qualitys.

How hard is it to make your own windows?Would it be best to use a roto zip or a dremel?
