i hope this doesnt sound like too much of a n00b question, but what exactly is an OEM Kit??

i guess maybe i read too much about motors and not enough about body work

 

it's the optional body kit that could have been purchased from Acura. it's also made by Honda/Acura.

 

its the front Lip, side skirts, and rear dresses.

 

oem kit on tegs = "good ****"

 

You need to search for this --- I know I've been quite the OEM kit post *****...so there must be 10-15 threads.

But of course, I'll post her up

Your just jealous! LOL...i'm j/p...but seriously your the first person to ever say that about those side skirts!

 

I don't like the side skirts b/c of that wierd cut when it reaches the quarter panels.
I guess I'm on my own on this one

I would have to agree with you about the side skirts...i took mine off b/c i didnt like them on my car...somethin just didnt flow right...well, i ended up selling it to manuck-6 (or the HTer with the bright blue integra) and it looks good on his car...so i just painted my stock ones!

 

i am with you guys i just picked up my 99 ls and i have been looking at the differnt add on lip kits out there and i must say that just the simple itr front lip only looks the best.....i really dont like the factory sides and rear...and of course all tegs look better without a wing IMO..........cant wait to get my first check so i can buy some stuff

hey guys, i have a question about these "oem" kits for the R...i see all of them have the same front lip, but wasup with the sideskirts, like all these have the same sideskirts, but how come some ITR have a straight skirt without any real design on them, and some ITRs have the rear lip and some dont?
