I'm halfway through modding a starion IC. Tubes are chopped off and the holes are plugged.
I was planning on re-using the old inlet pipes, but they only measure 1.75 ID.
*Should* I re-use them, or go for 2.25 ID? Why did they originally use such a small diameter pipe?
If the answer is to get bigger pipe, anyone know where I can get a small section of 2.25? McMaster has piping -- almost too many choices......
Planning to use this on a D16 w/ t25 turbo.
Any help appreciated.

id go with 2" from turbo(guessing the t25 has a 2" out), and 2.5" to the tb. i already had my piping when i did mine, but i would just check around your city, otherwise jcwhitney has good prices on nice bends.

You aren't on the same page.
I'm modifying the Intercooler, which is aluminum. I need aluminum piping for the inlet and outlet. JC Whitney doesn't sell aluminum pipe as far as I know.
I can use steel piping everywhere else, just not on the IC inlet/outlet.
