What is the name of the plastic part that enlcoses the CAI. The filter is in it. I hit a cone and it left a big hole in my bumper and it ripped the underlying plastic stuff away. I want to see if I can fix it myself.

OK another picture for you in your mind would be. If you take your front bumper off it is the plastic part that sticks out in front of each tire it forms a cavity away from the tire.

yeah, the fender liner runs above the tire, behind the shocks/springs. The splash guard hangs down in front of the tire, behind the bumper. For example, where the filter on an AEM CAI would sit.
