Default clamping the brakes

how are you suppose to compress the brakes with the c-clamp.

Does anyone have a pic of a setps or something.

Becuase i pull my brakes apart, and one brake pad fell off, i put it together, and but there wasn't enough clearance to fit it on the rotor, so i thought let me use force on this hoe and made it fit, and thought maybe it'll adjust itself.

But it didn't, and now when i drive, i hear that lovely sound ssshhhh ssshh sssshhh
I know if i drive like this, i will only wear out my brake pads.

So my resolution would be to get that c-clamp and compress it (am i correct) if so how.

wrap the Cclamp around the caliper having the floating piece on the C clamp go on the piston,..turn the rod till the piston is in,...once you are done,..make sure you pump your brakes before you drive to get the piston to lay on the backing plate of the brake pad
