June 21-22 @ Jotech Motorsports in Garland Texas.

In order we need to get 10 paid confirmation to get this rolling. Prics is $300 and will include:
1)Basics of electronics
2)Tools and Equipment
3)EFI Overview
4)Base Tuning the EFI System/Calibrating the Base Fuel Map
5)Calibrating Maps on the Dyno
6)Understanding Injectors

Seminar package to include goodie bag, seminar work book and info pamphlet and some hands on dyno tuning on Sunday. We will provide lunch and refreshments on both days (served by Earl Laskey).

Possibly having Bob Norwood as a guest speaker. Those who I know that will be there are Kenny Tran, Tony Palo, Eal Laskey, Me Art Ortiz, and maybe many more!

Who would have thought that a guy with a screen name of Porsche would be the first to sign up on a Honda board? Actually he has a turbo'd civic and a porsche with a V-8 in it. He wants to do his own tuning and built both of his cars himself. He will fly in from Cali.

Hey guys.............
Looks like this is shaping up to be a pretty good class.

We are are working hard to make this a top-notch professional event, and if it goes off well, we'll do more!

We need your help though, in registering early if you want to attend.

Space is limited and although we expect about 20-25 people, we do need at least 10 confirmed, paid registrations to ensure the class size will be enough to meet our financial obligations of producing the event.

After we have 15 paid confirmed registrations, we will take 10$ from each registration and put it into a raffle, to be given away to one lucky entrant at the end of the class.

We will also be holding raffles for some great engine parts too, like a set of B-series valve springs, a free Competition Valve job from the state of the art facility at STRADER PERFORMANCE!
More prizes will be added as they become available!

We are working on getting some press releases in a few popular magazines, so the publicity of this exciting new event should put the seminar in high demand...........so sign up early, and who knows....maybe you'll see yourself in an import mag!

When is the money due? And who do I pay? Also you guys should videotape the whole thing and sell it. Not anything professionaly produced or anything but transfer all the footage to a pc and slap it on a cd. This seminar sounds great! Would be cool to met Norwood after reading about his cars for years.

 

what is the nearest airport to you guys?, and also some cheap hotels, I have plenty of vacation time, but the $ will have to come out of my car funds, If I can afford it I WILL be there... as far as video goes, I work for a news station, I can get a DVC pro cam, and have top of the line non linear editors at my disposal. I could maybe even drive out, I will just take a week off.

 

Depending on what airline you fly will depend on what hotel we can get. I recomend using Southwest airlines for cost reasons and you could fly into dallas. The only bad thing about that is that you can not fly into directly into dallas Love Field because of the Right Amendment which states that all Southwest airlines that fly into love field must land somewhere else in texas. To make a long story short, you cant fly directly into Dallas Love Field on South West Airlines.

I would look into flying into Dallas Fort Worth Airport by any of the major airlines. If that is the case there are a number of hotels in that area. I can see if we can get a group rate for about 10 people. The more we get Im sure the cheaper it will be.

FYI, we have PHO and cowboy hats(dallas cowboys).

Damn, i was kidding also, jeez, and yeah, i dont think tony has to be worrying about paying being that he will prolly be doing some teaching as well, i want to make it, im sure there is so much i an learn, grr, i hate nj,

 

I am also in NJ, and really want to go, I was thinking about just loading up my beater (95 saturn) and driving out, if you, or anyone else from NJ, or anyone else along the way would like to ride with me that would be great. with more people to split the expense, and drivers to keep the car moving we could get there pretty quick, and pretty cheap!! if anyone is interested in helping out with the drive and gas $$$ I would love to have you!! send me a PM if interested...

 

Is anyone going film/record to seminar? I think putting it on tape/vcd/dvd would be a good idea. Id definately pay for osmething like this.
