I have a hatch and its got factory BROWN interior. does anyone else have this?

Also, i want black, would it be easier to buy new/used interior pieces, or dye/paint the existing brown ones?

Im gonna strip the car down inside and out and paint it (change of color), so it will all be out of the car anyways. let me know what you guys think?

no pics right now... but its an 89 DX ... Laguna Gold Metallic, brown interior.

yes the Gold HB's have that ugly brown interior..
i am one of those lucky guys on having that ugly color...
anyways, if uy manage to get some osrt of paint that will stick to it without scrathing ill say its worthed painting...
other than that if u feel like paying and getting new ones, its up to you.

 

i say you keep it brown. it's different.

 

i used to have a beater hatch with brown interior . i know what your talkin about . your best bet if your serious is to upgrade to si intereior .. you can pick up dashes and door panels online or at the pick and pull . as for the carpet you have to do your self ..the rear panels i you can try to dye or find si panels. i have some si door panels for sell if your interested .

 

I have a 88 tan/off white HB with the brown int.. I hated it at 1st but I love it cause its diferent and imo better than the gray blue color... but still the charcol is dope..dying the interior is a pain and will scratch off eventually mostly just on the plactic panels.. I had a camaro with red interior...I dyed the vinyl dash with black and its held up since 97...i found as many black interor parts to keep from dying stuff.. the plastic interior panels near the back seats got scratches from peeps riding and putting stuff in the back..Yes i used paint for plastic panels for the plastic and vinyl paint for the vinyl..If you dye/paint your interior make sure you get rid of all the oil/dirt or else it will flake off like I have seen on some of my friends cars..

 

i've got a brown interior, and i hated it at first, but now i really like it. i think it's more mellow than a black interior. it's also different than what most people have. i haven't found any inside modification i couldn't do because of the brown.

 

Just the other day I almost bought an 90' Integra shell. The outside was tan and the inside was a sort of 2-tone brown-tan. Everyone said it was ugly but I think it went well with the car.
