Ok, i know you can use the b16 tb on a d series but what sensors do i need. do i need all the sensors that were on the b16 tb in the first place or just the tps??? thx and let me know

 

ONLY if the d-series intake manifold you're using is '92 or newer, 88-91 have a different bolt pattern.

 

yeh thats correct and itll bolt onto the z6 intake and y8 intake no problems just need to plug it into the tps plug

 

ha, good luck i have a y8 manifold! so i only need the tps right? do i need the map sensor?

 

well u can use the map sensor on the throtlebody yes....u have to cause there isnt a port for ur old one to work with it if u use a newer b series TB

 

I just put on a tb from a 93' LS integra on my a6 manifold.

dood you just bolt on the b16tb plug in the tps and you are good to go

use your stock map sensor

what gen b16tb do you have ...is it a 1st gen?If its a 1st gen then all it has on it is a tps.

you might have to "T" a vacum line though...I don't remeber exactly but its not a big deal.

do you mind explaining how you did this?? was it a direct bolt on? or what? what plugs need to be changed?

 

so if you are using ar 1st gen b16 tb

take a new gastket put it on the back of the B tb cut the gasket to the same size as the b tb put the gasket on the intake manifold and scribe the size of the new hole on the intake manifold. port match to the new scribed line. Clean everything up and put it all together. No plugs have to be changed.

 

if its a usdm b16TB then u have to use the map sensor attatched to the tb no matter what everything plugs in just have to extened the plug from the firewall no extra crap plug and play

ok, just clear one more thing up. if i use the y8 manifold and the 1st gen b16 tb it just bolts up??? i won't have to do anything else?
