Spoon Carbon Air Duct...
I came across this carbon air duct piece from Spoon. I just couldn't figure out why they made it for the S2K and not for the Integra. Especially since there are a lot more Integra's than there are S2K's. Maybe some of you have seen it before, but this is my first time seeing it though.

That is probably why you don't see a Spoon carbon air duct for the DC2.
Spoon does not make parts that they feel are unnecessary.

..unnecessary meaning that there wouldn't be any power gains with the system?
I don't understand your logic.
Get a Mugen intake if you want something similar.
Where are you thinking of adding said duct?
I think the placement of the s2000 engine makes that spoon duct more efficient than say on an integra

. I don't personally know any Engineering majors, but I may just have to find one on campus to come up with one. I like how it uses the stock air box with the duct going to the front bumper.

I have been thinking hard about a 'duct' that goes in place of the factory 'white fender box' that hooks up to the stock air box and goes down to the area behind the turn signal.
Sorta like the ice box inlet... but only using the stock air box.

Obtaining a "ram air" effect whilst using the stock airbox on the S2000 is relatively easy. By simply going over the radiator support and down, the front grille is easily accesable for placement of the inlet and cool-air along with it. Even the Mugen airbox for the S2000 aims their intake towards the same area. However, theirs are designed to work in conjuction with their aero bumper, where there is a matching inlet integrated into the bumper.
Whereas on an Integra, there is no direct route (relative to the S2000 setup) from the stock airbox to an area of high pressure, where any "ram air" setup should be located. The Mugen/Comptech airbox places the inlet behind the turn signals. While you're getting cool-air in that area, to really take advantage of any "ram air" possibility with the aforementioned setups, one needs to remove/modify the turnsignal.
