Default With all this talk about new toys...

I figure i might join the fun (although i am not attending the expo..i wish i could).

Here is my new Moogen baffled oil pan.

I thought about modifying the OE pan and creating some kind of baffle system but didn't feel confident enough. I broke down and spent the big bucks on this well made pan. I am impressed to say the least.

One question though...i was looking through the helms to see where you apply liquid gasket on this pan to insure no leaks. I couldn't find in what places it needs to be applied - only that you should use it. This is my first oil pan installation but how hard could it be? I am not a we-todd-did

Mike

edit: after doing the search i found this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=209820 oh well

What are the advantages of this over OEM?

Only on the D-series because the flange is not totally flat. It isn't required on flat pans.

Keeps oil around the pickup during high-G turns - so you don't get oil starvation. It's a worthy mod for tracked R's.
