2. i get a o2 sensor CEL , why? i am using my vx o2. with a vx harness,
3. when i am in gear , my shifter pops right out ? i have to like hold it in the gear so it wont come out , i am using b16a2 shift linkage.

2. VX is a 5wire o2, you need to rewire it some and get a 4wire o2 sensor. I used 2wires from the VX o2 plug and ran the other two straight to the ecu. I'll try to find my notes for you on that.
I used this when i did a mini-me to convert the o2 sensor to 4wire. Should help remedy your o2 issue.
1. for the idle, it could be map and tps plugs mixed up, it could be a dirty fast idle valve, the unit under the TB. might be a vacuum leak also i think

okie, i found the setup, the yel/blk wire needs to get routed all the way to the ecu, at least i found it easier to do it that way, then it gets t'd into the yel/blk on A and the yel/blk on B at the ecu. The other 3 wires you can use ones from the VX harnes, you'll have to make your own plug setup though, or just hardwire them. I bought a 4 wire waterproof wiring harness from pepboys, both the male and female then rewired both sides at the old plug area.
Okie, for 4 wire the wires are this:
Grn/Wht 2
Wht 1
Orn/Blk
Yel/Blk
for 5 wire they are:
grn/wht 2
wht
wht/blu 2
orn
orn/blu 2
yel/blk
blk 1
Okie for the the other wires, take the 5wire yel/blk and that goes to the 4wire orn/blk, grn/wht 2 is the same on both 5wire and 4wire, and orn/blu 2 is the wht1 for the 4wire o2. IM me if you need any more info.
btw. the above colors are directly from the helms, some of those cables are routed inside the cable plug so you dont think, gee thats more than 5wires...

from past experience the idle problem is do to the fast idle,..as for the popping out gear,..what gear is this doing it in??? if its doing it in only one gear then maybe the syncro is bad,...if its doing it in all gears then it could be that your using the wrong linkage

its coming out on all of the gears, but if i hold the shifter while it's in gear everything is good , i am using a b16a2 shift linkage , which should work

the manifold pressure can cause it to idle funny as well as the throttle, make sure on the intake maniold, the hoses are pluged to the right area, and the ones that arent used for obd2 are pluged up and not left open. because the on the 2kSi, they have a evap sensor and a pruge sensor that i dont think you will need, so you will have to reroute the hoses and stuff.
