I usually don't like shaved moldings, but yours look ok for some reason.
Maybe it's the rims, they help with the flow of that smooth look. some kind of minimalistic "less is more" type style.

It is usually because people don't shave them properly. When done right/properly, they're all good.

 

i shave my molding and rain gutter it look cleaner and smooth, bronzejdmhatch your car is clean.

 

I usually don't like them because I think moldings give a car character. Sometimes the rest of the car looks so busy and then you have this huge plain area, it just doesn't flow well.
But I think BronzeJDMhatch's car flows well.

i get alot of mixed reviews on the moldings. u either love it or hate it. i think it looks clean and smooth. im not trippin what other people think...as long as i like it, thats all that matters. but thanks for the positive comments

For some reason, people either love it or hate it...

 

I think shaved moldings on 2nd or 3rd gen Integras look alright because even w/o the molding, there is still some kind of bodyline that runs down the middle of the door. If you shave the moldings on a Civic, there is nothing, just a big flat blank area. I prefer to have either the moldings or the empty recesses on Civics.

 

I like it.....just those wheels are blech
