Eye Candy, misc parts for engine rebuild!!!
73 dollars in tax, jesus... many of you prolly dont know me amongst your normal posters, but I have a 99 si with 130k on it basically all na, and finally spun a rod bearing... mind you ive been doing nothing but **** me in the *** driving in that car owning its engine...
so its going to cost me 1100 just for the labor (im not going to post whos doing it) being they might not give other people quote like that!!!
They pretty much are doing a whole bunch of **** to the block, crank, valves, headwork, intake manifold, and throttle body.... reasembly testing tuned, and returned to me... the company is VERY credible! Not some dumb *** import shop.
ill be doing teardown and re-assembly, might also get the tranny overhauled too.
I got about 1153.15 left to spare for parts, and just spend 1037 on this ****...
besides crank bearings and pistons and rings and **** like that, should i be good with that remainder amount of money or am i still gonna come out the *** with funds?

should have done the work yourself. Dont think you cant, because you can. With a haynes and my common knowlege I built a b16 from the crank up. I did not do any of the machine work mind you but I did all the assembly. Oh yea what was your question?

its a timing belt, the tensioner, and a water pump for those of you questioning my intellegence... the water pump makes for most of that price... that also includes royal purple, water wetter or some ****...
1100 is for the machine work silly.
1100 is for the machine work silly.
i personally think that's smart. I've been meaning to just replace as many seals on the car as i possibly can, just for peace of mind, and just in case...
