Brake light ON
Hey, when it gets below about 15 degrees here in Col, OH, my cars brake light will not go off until my car has been warm for like 10 minutes or so. Pads are fine, Rotors are fine, fluid is topped off. Anyone have this problem or delt with it before.
I have that same problem rightnow with my gsr. Well, it's been doing that for few months now..but yea I don't bother with it because I know everything is working fine. Plus, i've heard of alot of integras having this problem-it's most likely a sensor thing...It only goes down to about mid 40's in the mornings here in so.cal but my light still stays on for about 3-4 miles...It will go off when i brake and come back on when i let off the brake..And then a couple blocks more down...it'll just go off...I should get it fixed while i still have my warranty though it's just that I'm too lazy and I know it's not big of a deal.

Yeah I would say this is a common problem. My gsr used to do this. The brake light would pop on and go off eventualy. It hasnt come on now for a while but im sure it will again some day.
Same occurence to my integra once.
The MAX line in the brake fluid reseviour is NOT full. It needs to be "Topped Off" as you have said (Above the line to the top of the container). That cured it for me.

Mine did it but it was b/c when it got really cold out, my brakes would freeze close enough together to keep the light on. after driving for about 3 minutes it went off b/c using the brakes it heated it up

As if the constant CEL wasn't bad enough the brake light had to join in for the past month
