why does it not start when its wet outside?
92 teg wont start when wet out. why?
It's probably your distributer cap/wires. Take a spray bottle of water and spray it on your cap and try to start it. You'll probably find that the car won't start and maybe if you get it running it and spray the water on the cap the car may start to miss or stall out. Replace your cap + rotor and make sure you get the rubber gasket for the cap.

Not starting when humidity is high is a common problem among older Camrys, and I believe the problem was something inside the distributor, either the cap or maybe the contacts on the ignitor or something like that. Either way something isn't sealing, and you probably need to replace the cap and the little gasket that comes with it. You should probably also replace the dist. rotor. I do not recommend getting these from an auto parts store, go with OEM Honda parts for this stuff.

man thx. i probably got ripped off at a local shop. new distrutor, new cap and rotor, used window motor, cable wire for opening hood, all for 1100. parts for 500-600 and then rest was for labor. i coulda got these parts for less if i found it myself and actually had it redone by a friend. i didnt know until after i got it done.
