Well I think maybe next time you should do a little more research before arguing w/ coworkers. He's right, you can't turbo an R but you can get NAWZ, two bottles in fact

Yeah, that does suck.

No offense, but that's the real reason I stay far away from JDM conversions, aftermarket rims, obvious power mods, and anyone else who drives or talks about modified cars (unless I know the person).

[edit] you probably should let people who spout garbage continue in ignorance. Imagine someone acting like a dipfuck, like that guy, with the intention of learning more about all the parts he can steal from it...

not trying to start a flamin` war or anything but i don't really understand the point of turbo-ing a honda, esp. motors with vtec..please enlighten me if i`m wrong but doesn`t it go against the whole philosophy of honda`s high revving vtec motors? in a sense, it`s like downgrading your motor right? you have to lower the compression and such, and such..but if it floats your boat then that`s what matters..i just think vtec honda motors are n/a at its best!

Talk to the guys who make SERIOUS power with a turbo R.

This is most definitely the wrong thread to start this discussion.

Do some searching and you'll learn alot about turbo R's. Can be very impressive....

i see his point, thats not what the R was made for....but ive seen some sick ITR's turboed. im at stock internals pushin 5-7 psi and probably making around 250 whp which isnt bad. the car is meant for NA setups, but is awesome when modified and turboed.
