when replacing clutch in jdmb16 what year/vehicle do you use?
90-93 integra clutch should do fine...if you really want to be picky, ask for 92-93 gsr clutches, but i think they're the same as any 90-93 teg clutch kit
i have a '92-93' teg clutchmasters stage one and its been running nicely for 2 years now

Well the 90-91 integra and 92-93 integra clutches differ when it comes to the disc. If you have a Y1/J1/S1 you need the 90-91 clutch and it you have a YS1 or newer S1 you will need the 92-93 clutch kit
Usually the jdm b16a comes with the older S1 from the 90-91 integra xsi. This one uses the 90-91 integra clutch kit(i hae this trans right now). The other S1 is a usdm version and it is geared longer and it comes off the b18a(LS) engine. It is really tough to tell without counting the splines on the input shaft but my best guess would be that if the trans came from an importer with an S1 trans then it is the jdm version and uses the 90-91 integra clutch kit.
i used the clutch from a 92 teg when i put one in my b16 in my 92 teg GS. it had a b16 out of a 91 crx in it.

single plate dry, diaphragm spring
A low-cost replacement can be built out of the following:
B16A's Y1 flywheel
B18C's Y80 clutch disk
B18C's Y80 pressure plate
B17A throw-out bearing
if not just use one out of the same model teg...mine came from a 92 teg rsi... so i used a 92 usdm teg clutch...i'll let you know if i run into any probllems...
more info can be found here http://b16a.honda-perf.org/care.html

90-92 teg clutches are the same. Thais is the one you will need for your B16a. I have the CM stage 3 kit with their 9 lb flywheel. Its a great setup for street/strip.
If you run a cable ys1 92 gsr tranny you will need to run the lager spline clutch out of a 94 and up teg. For reference. So all 90-92 clutches are not the same.

90/91 (25mm spline) and 92/93 disks are not the same
if you order a clutch the part numbers are also diff on the two clutches

Spline COUNT is the same 90-91 or 92.
I was running a 92+ CM disk on my car for a LONG time on my 90 model LS tranny. After I put the turbo on and tuned it, it stripped out the splines in the center of the disk... And I always wondered why it had such harch engagement
http://www.clutchnet.com tells the differences in the 90-91 and 92+. I think the early trannies were 25mm, and the 92+ were 26 or 27mm.
