I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX.......Today I started my bar and my ABS light came on......I have noticed recently that when I am in Park, and i push on the brake really hard, it makes a buzzing sound, like the actuator is going.......Sometimes when I start my car it just does it too.....Also, I have a ticking in my motor, it doesnt seem like it is in the block itself, but in a little cenor behind it.......any info?? thanks

 

Does the light stay on or does it turn off after a few seconds. The ticking is normal unless it is excessive. That buzzing is your ABS accumulator pump going. That's normal also.

He's right the buzzing is the accumulator trying to build pressure up in your brake system. It happened to my old car too. When it realizes it can't build up the pressure the ABS light kicks on and the buzzing stops. My problem was a small leak in the accumulator. The Fix? I just bled the brake lines and made sure to keep the ABS resevoir filled up so that it would have enough fluid. GL
