Mmmm...put 00' SI tails on my 97 coupe and now my turn signals are white, which cops by the way do not like.

I have checked numerous stores and cannot find a amber bulb to replace it with, what am i to do?

 

are you looking for an amber bulb for a 97? if so, look for the bulbs for a 99-00.

what i did was i went to pep boys and i went to the APC section (yea i know i know)APC makes a bulb for the turn signals that are amber,...if you dont want to do that then you can go to the honda dealership and get one i think

 

you can get an amber bulb at any auto shop. just look up the 99-00 bulb.

 

the 99-00 bulb does not fit..it has a little plastic clip on it that prevents it from sliding all the way in.

 

I had some left over model paint and painted my bulbs with a few light coats. The turn signal bulbs don't generate enough heat to 'burn' the paint so it's ok. I've had it for almost 2 years now and no problems.

my friend put the 99-00 tails on his 98 coupe and he has the amber blinkers...just go to autozone or whatever you have around and get the right ones for your wiring not the tails!
