Default Anyone else have problems with their climate control lights?

Mine are wierd. They'll usually stay off. But if i hit a bump, or if i hit the dash on the right side of the climate control they will turn on. But if i push a different button for another zone, or if i push the button to toggle between fresh air, and circulated air, they will turn off. But they wont turn off if i change the fan speed or the tempurature.

A couple of my friends cars do this too. Anyone know why? Must me a bad wiring job somewhere but i figured i'd ask before i go rip apart the dash and trace wires.

I have a similar problem except mine get very dim and everyone once and a while they are nice and bright. But when I hit a bump or try to swtich where the air comes out they go dark again.

They dim when your headlights are on.. it takes power away from them for the headlights..

mine worked randomly, like one day theyd work, the next they wouldnt, but then again, my gauges also flashed with my turn sugnals..... so my wiring sucked.

i've got one bulb on the right side of the climate control in mine. Apparently it's loose enough that it'll sometimes not light up unless i bump the side of the dash. Lately it's been staying on without any motivational nudges.

I have the same problem in my del Sol. Pretty annoying when driving around at night . Anyone ever fixed it or know for sure if it's a loose bulb?

i had mine work intermittently when i had my civic. the right side would just turn off.

a little hit to the top of the dash would fix it.

I had the same problem with mine for a while. Same location too. I finally got motivated enough to take the climate control out and see what I could find. After looking everything over very well, I wound up replacing the bulbs and haven't had the problem since. Big pain for such a small problem.

i've had the same problem, if i launch a little violently in reverse they come on again. if it goes off again, just pull the switch from hot to cold a couple of times and if that doesnt work.. launch it in reverse!

i think i should just take it apart and change the bulbs

I guess I'll have to take it apart and replace the bulbs then . Of course, that's when we get rid of this frickin' snow!
