I would get a BOV at least and if money allows get a intercooler kit also. Should be a bolt in kit with everything included.

you will have to find a kit for the del sol si even though its the same motor you will not pass inspection. and i don't think there is a kit with a carb EQ number on it that comes for the del sol

No BOV or intercooler to be legal. You can remove these items in a few hours if need be for inspection. I would try if at all possible to find someway to use the bov though. Compression surge would kill that turbo over time. Maybe mount it on the underside of the piping so the flange is not visable.

actually, it is possible to pass with the blow off valve if you rout a rubber tube to where the filter is (inlet side of turbo) so it dumps jsut before the inlet

i have one...and it fits rather nice. only mod you have to make is to cut a mounting bracket for the charge pipe where it is hidden in the bumer (corner) and make a little bracket for the downpipe because the greddy downpipe will not match up with the current one...not too hard, i just took a flat piece of metal and drilled 2 holes so the mounts would tighten to each other, its off by like an inch haha. other than that, the charge pipe is a little crooked, but still goes in. ive had it for 3+months, and havent had a problem. i suggest you get the oil return pipe welded on, mine leaked the first time so i had to take the oil pan off the second time to get it welded.

my boost gauge says im boosting 6 from the start. I got it this way, either that or my boost gauge is miscalibrated. I have no problems with 6 right now, and im my mixture seems to be where its suppoed to be

6 is usually the stock boost for all turbo kits

Also i heard that the stock map sensor wouldn't work with boost is this true?

i dont have any other engine mods, and i have stock timing.

yes, map sensors dont work with boost. the blue box goes inbetween the sensor and the ecu. the blue box uses the map sensor signal to adjust fuel, and returns a signal to the ecu from the blue box in a form the ecu can understand (o boost i assume)
